Very coincidental though that everytime it freezes vmnet is the last message with errors. If i don't get resolution soon, i guess the next step is to uninstall Fusion and see if that stops the problem. I sent them a support email In looking at System.log I noticed the last messages were vmnet, once again and not Simplify. Upon reboot i went into console and All Messages showed it froze when Simplify Media was running. i went into firefox and hit reload on a forum thread that i had been following and - freeze! btw, i've had this issue since before i had time machine, so it being on a networked disk should not be immediatly called out as the cause. upon opening the lid, Time Machine started a backup to my airdisk on my airport extreme. firefox 3.5.2 was running, as was simplify media. i don't know why they would be if fusion is not running.ītw, i did a search on the term vmnet under the Fusion board, and the most recent result was 2008 on the beta version, and a google search revealed Transmission related problems, but i don't use, nor have Transmission installed. I have Fusion Version 2.0.5 (173382) installed, and it was NOT running at the time of the lock-up, but TOP shows a bunch of vm processes running.
